Job Title: Audio Visual Support Engineer

Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Duration: December 2026 - December 2027

Location: Plainsboro, NJ

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: USD 45 - USD 50/hour W2

What the Client is Looking For

The client is seeking a Senior Associate, IT Tech (IT AV Support Specialist) who can independently support enterprise audiovisual environments, Microsoft Teams Rooms, executive meetings, and conference room technology. This person will serve as the primary onsite AV/IT support resource, ensuring meeting spaces, collaboration tools, and live events operate flawlessly.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Poly devices, ServiceNow ticketing, executive stakeholders, and live event production environments . They should be comfortable troubleshooting high-visibility technical issues in real time while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Crestron, and Poly collaboration technologies
• Prepare conference rooms and meeting environments for business and executive meetings
• Conduct pre-meeting system validations, testing, and rehearsals
• Provide live troubleshooting and technical support during critical meetings and events
• Perform routine meeting room inspections, preventive maintenance, and firmware/software updates
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow
• Ensure SLA and KPI compliance through effective ticket ownership and issue resolution
• Maintain AV asset inventories, documentation, and equipment records
• Coordinate with vendors regarding repairs, replacements, installations, and escalations
• Partner with Facilities, IT teams, and business stakeholders to improve service reliability
• Support live production environments and company-wide events when required
• Assist with process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
• Present project updates and technical findings during team meetings

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and meeting room technologies
• Experience supporting live production environments, meetings, and events
• Strong AV troubleshooting experience
• Working knowledge of Crestron systems
• Experience supporting Poly collaboration devices
• Experience using ServiceNow ticketing systems
• Experience managing SLAs, service requests, and incident resolution
• Executive/VIP support experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams
